Hi All,
I sell Kromski Spinning Wheels. I started my dealership after my husband and (adult) kids bought me the Polonaise for xmas a couple years ago. Please stop by if you are interested in buying a spinning wheel. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
Also, I have some wonderful Shetland fleeces for sale. $5.00 a lb and I will be more than happy to take pictures and send them to you, or provide a sample.

Shetland ewes if handled from birth are very sweet and friendly...and they do Baaaa at you wen they want attention or need something, truly...I love my little girls. Too bad you are so far away...I'm looking to trade breeding rams for ewes...

Hi Luna,
I don't have sheep myself. I do have a couple of friends who have sheep, so I sell fleeces for them - in exchange for more fleeces for me ;-) Being on ranches, they are too busy to run to town to mail them all out. With internet sells for them, it helps (as you know) with hay bills. One of them had reduced her flock as she just wasn't selling too many locally. Now we all feed each other needs and addictions - LOL
I'll get sheep as soon as I can teach one to behave and bark like a dog! :-)

The kromski wheel are beautiful and I've heard good things about them. I'm committed to my Schatt for now but if you were closer I'd probably try one out. I have Shetlands too. Aren't they great?

Dianna! I am droooooooooooooooling! I don't spin. I don't weave and I don't even knit. BUT I WANT TO!! that has to count for something!  These are gorgeous! Right now, my time is not my own but in a few years I know I'll have a little more time for some of these new endeavors. Until then, I will keep this site in mind! My very best to you! ~julia

Thanks Robin - I know it isn't a very "professional" looking site, so thank you. :-)
Nigella - Right now the Sonata wheel is what everyone is buying. Beginners and more experienced spinners love this wheel. A couple of women in my spin guild who have been spinning for years and own Schact wheels, bought Sonata's. As one woman put it, "With the Schact, it was in control. With the Sontana, I was in control." Now mind you, they won't give up their Schacts, but they love their Sonatan's and those are the wheels they use the most. You can just sit and spin from it with no problems.

And you don't have to wait till you have sheep, I am sure in WA there are enough ranchers out there looking for someone to give fleeces to! :-) LOL

Oh boy Diana! As soon as I'm in my own place and can get sheep again I want to learn how to spin. I'm bookmarking your site right now and I'll be sure to buy my first spinning wheel from you! Is there one that you would suggest for a beginner or are they all about the same in that respect?
