Posted - Aug 12 2008 : 07:48:04 AM Good Morning from the Land of Sky Blue Water. I just listed a neat "Sunday" organdy apron on Etsy that is made from old floral handkerchiefs.

Posted - Aug 12 2008 : 7:35:36 PM I have a Singer Feather Weight I learned to sew on and a newer machine that does all this fancy stuff (that I never could figure out...I think that's why I quit)...but I like the old simple one the best. That's the one I got out of the closet. Now I got to find the courage and the time to start back again!!!!

Posted - Aug 12 2008 : 7:31:48 PM Hi Chris! Well, if you get brave enough sewing really is like riding a bike! I sewed a lot when I was a girl too (doll clothes) but when I purchased the greatest sewing machine ever (a 1950s Singer) last winter it all came back to me and I made the cutest nightie ever :)

Posted - Aug 12 2008 : 11:43:54 AM I used to sew when I was younger but haven't in years. I did get my sewing machine out the other day and look at it but haven't attempted to try anything yet. I've got alot of things I would love to try but just finding the time and remembering how!!! |
