Ladies I need fabric in vintage shabby chic material, bold flowers in dust pink or emerald green colors behind the flowers. I have heard that this is also called Barkcloth but I have not found that look yet. I want to make several things it and want.

Angela - barkcloth is more textured than regular cloth. But you can find those same lovely colors in regular fabric. There are so many pretty reproduction fabrics now.

EllyAnne - you're a farmgirl after my own heart. Vintage fabric is the best.

Hi EllynAnne, no i definately do not want rough fabric so regular vintage shabby chic would be great, do you have anything I can look at?

Angela, hey! I have lots of vintage fabric you might be interested in, but to clarify - I consider bark cloth a different breed of fabric. It's got a rougher texture than "regular" fabric. So, if you would, let me know the amount of fabric you're interested in and if bark cloth is what you're really after.

Anglea - try eBay seller Urbangardens. Susan has the most gorgeous fabrics. You can also look on eBay for vintage barkcloth. I love barkcloth - it is my favorite vintage fabric.
