Posted - Jan 29 2006 : 4:28:04 PM Hi girls, Im just putting this out there. I have a 4 harness Schacht floor loom with a bench for sale. It's about 8 to 10 y/old but in mint condition. Marion ( my older friend) has moved into a care center & can't use it anymore. I've had it at my home for awhile now but I have another Schacht loom & I can't use both & don't have the room for both. It goes for almost $ 3 grand new but obviously Im not asking that. Looking for about $800.00 for it. It has xtra harness' & of course shuttles, bobbins. Also has canvas backing for easy roll up. Doesn't rock, very solid. If anyone is interested please just e/mail me. Thanks, Michele

Posted - Feb 15 2006 : 8:14:17 PM Michele, Can you point out to me exactly which model it is you have for sale??? There are so many different kinds, maybe you could go to the website and point it out for me, if you would.
Blessings to you, Teri (pioneerspiritlady)

Posted - Jan 30 2006 : 11:57:43 AM Hi girls, Yeah, I hope it finds a home. It will. I have 2 floor looms in my living room, a spinning wheel in my kitchen, a spinning wheel in my bedroom, a 4 harness table loom in my closet, an indian loom out in my shed. I just gave away a frame loom but still have another one somewhere. I have a small lap loom, shuttles, bobbins, you name it, I probably have it AND I live in a 2 bedroom mobile home!!!!!!!! I wish I had a studio or a big farm house with enough room for a small studio. I have alot of spun wool that I dyed for my rugs but havent had any time to do the rug lately. Oh well, eventually. Posted - Jan 30 2006 : 04:08:01 AM I thought you meant you had four harnesses--- for horses.
Oh, well. I bought a new one last summer for my pony, but the one I have for my horses is a bit beat up. Needs a good cleaning, but there are also some keepers missing.
I guess I have to get my mind out of that constant horsey groove. |

Posted - Jan 30 2006 : 02:53:15 AM Michele, good luck with selling the loom. I would love to have it, but have two here also. Wish I had a big heated building where I could set up looms, and have classes. Right now I have a rigid heddle in the corner of my living room, and then a big loom that is in need of repair, sitting in a shed. Poor thing! I love the Schacht looms, and that is a great deal...hope it finds a really good home...jenny in MI |
