from farmgirl sites! I always have all the presents bought/made for everyone but my immediate family by the end of summer and then start working on buying/making things for my husband and children. This morning before church I made out my gift list and it dawned on me that I can do all my buying (except maybe my young nephew and 2 step-nephews) from various farmgirls! There are some things I want to buy from MJF as well as from farmgirls scattered throughout the country.

This solves a dilemma I'm faced with more & more every year. I'm not a fan of the big chain department and discount stores, and I try to shop at mom & pop type stores. Unfortunately, they are becoming fewer and farther between. But now, through you ladies, I'll be buying from online mom & pop stores! This has given me such a great feeling about my purchasing.

Some people search for happiness; others create it.

I got alot of things last Christmas for gifts that way and have begun stocking up now for the coming year. It is wonderful to have a drawer full of things to pull from if I need a quick small gift for a friend too! I want to support you gals all I can. Oldest son just asked if I could recomend some MJ stuff to have his girlfriend taste since he wants to go backpacking and take some along and she hasn't tried any. I will get him some things I like soon ..and maybe some I havn't tried and mail them off to him as a surprize.
I try so hard not to spend my money at Walmart or stores like that (that is the only store like that we have anywhere close) and I feel good about going to little local stores and shopping online. I like to stay home too...and that is a benefit. I have never been one for shopping
therapy" unless it is going to buy plants at a nursery or going to fabric stores. THAT sort of shopping I am always up for.
