Posted - May 20 2006 : 8:55:01 PM Hope you recover quickly, but use the down time as a time to recoup! I just received two luscious bars of your soap - Patchouli and the Rosemary Mint - I have so far used the Patchouli and it smells wonderful and ever so earthy! I especially like the homemade touches of doing this in small batches and I adored the wrapping so much, I carefully removed to soap to save the wrapper. I will be buying more soon you can count on that!
Blessed Be!

Here is the information on caring for your soap.
How to Care for Your Handcrafted Soap
Any soap will melt if it sits in water, and handcrafted soap, with its natural glycerin content and lack of synthetic additives, is particularly susceptible. Storing your soap out of the direct shower stream and using a draining soap shelf to let it dry between uses will greatly prolong its life. Since handcrafted soap has no chemical preservatives, it deserves a specific care plan to insure the longest, happiest relationship possible between you and your soap. Now Remember these helpful hints: 1) Handcrafted soap is best stored out of water so that it air dries; this means resting on a draining soap dish or standing on its side, out of the spray range of a showerhead. If left in water, handcrafted soap tends to dissolve due to the glycerin molecules that naturally attract moisture. 2) When using soaps for body cleansing, longevity improves if you avoid rubbing the bar directly onto the body. Instead, use hands, washcloth or other bathing instrument to apply the soap to your body. This will also minimize encounters with any large pieces of herbs or exfoliates. 3.) Store in a cool, dry place, preferably NOT under the sink if you have metal pipes. (The soap's glycerin will attract moisture from condensation on pipes heated as hot water flows through them.) Many people report storing their soaps in linen cupboards and dresser drawers to freshen towels and clothing.
Thanks again for your order!
