Bluegrass PRIDE, an environmental nonprofit that provides resources to educate and empower the communities and individuals of Central Kentucky to improve their quality of life by improving the quality of their environment, is selling One of the kind 55 Gallon Artistic Rain Barrels on Ebay. The rain barrels are featured around Kentucky and are handpainted by Kentucky artists who are well known for their work. I wanted to show you guys these rain barrels and if you or someone you know would like one, I encourage you to bid on one of these beautiful creations.

The link is http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=artistic rain barrel

Rain barrels include: overflow that will fit a standard hose (including an irrigation hose); spigot that will fit a standard hose; down spout connector; and a screened louver.

More information on Bluegrass PRIDE is at http://www.kentuckypride.com

I thought it would be something different to see and a great way to conserve water when you need it for your plants, etc.

You guys are welcome. This is the third year they have done the rain barrel as a fundraiser. I've seen them each year in person and the artistic talent is just too neat! A rainbarrel is very good to help save on water bills if you have gardens that need tending to or flowers that need tending to, making it very resourceful and recyclable.

If I find out any new projects going on, I'll let ya'll know! :)

Those are amazing. I wish I could afford one but got the electric bill yesterday after a couple of weeks of over 100' weather.OUCH!

I expanded on the search to 'artistic rain' and it pulled them right up.
