Posted - Oct 20 2006 : 05:53:25 AM Hi! I just came to the forum to post a note about honey! I have some available - raw, cold-processed from individual hives. I am in New York, in the Green Mountains very close to Vermont border. Rosie |

Posted - Sep 28 2006 : 12:46:08 PM oh girl!! now i know what to send you in return for the kefir grains!! I will send you some out ASAP!! We have 4 hives this year and collected 120 pounds. We are not selling it but keeping what we estimate that we will need for the year, giving some to neighbors as bribe (for not fussing about all the bees around their houses ;)) and some as part of Christmas gifts!! So happy to share this awesome gift from the bees!!

Posted - Sep 28 2006 : 11:19:28 AM Hi Erica, If you send me your address, I will send you some honey in the next two weeks. My best friend has a hive and last year had 5 gallons of honey. He is going to take the honey this weekend or next. Should have at least as much s last year, he thinks even more this year.

Posted - Sep 26 2006 : 2:22:49 PM I know that there are some folks who do in a neighboring town, but when I drove through a day or so ago they didn't have their sign out. "Real" honey is such a treat! AND, I've heard that if you can get it locally, it's a good "natural immunization" against allergies - I'm not a doctor or anything, but I've heard it from quite a few sources - I'm sure you know, but also, don't give honey to little ones under a year old...
Greatest of luck on your honey-quest!
XOXO, Libbie
