Well ladies, I finally did it! My Etsy shop is officially open for business! I hope you will all give me your honest feedback on my merchandise and pricing (especially the shipping-- it seems like it's getting so expensive!). And if you like what you see, I'm sure you'll tell all your friends. :-)

I haven't added anything new since I set up shop, so I think I need to keep it fresh. My goal is to add/rotate in one item a week I think. But I did get my first sale today!

As long as I add one or two new items each weak, my sales stay fairly consistent. Then as you sell and relist it keeps you at the front of the pages in the category you are selling in. When I've let things just sit for a month i didn't sell anything.

Okay, I need some advice from the advanced Etsy sellers... it seems like I've gotten a good number of views on each of my products, but no sales yet. Is it my pricing, shipping costs or what I'm offering? Or am I just being impatient?

How exciting! I especially like the cobalt blue compotier, as I love blue glass. And "Shade Tree Studios" is such a pretty name for a shop.

I think you should bump your prices up a little. I would pay at least 5.00 for the notecards and 10.00 for the comptiers. Shipping is just expensive all around, can't get away from that!

Blessed Be!
