Posted - Feb 18 2011 : 1:20:44 PM My oldest son will be deploying on Monday, the 21st, to Afghanistan this time. It has been so wonderful the last year to have all 3 of my boys home on US soil. I know God has his back so he will be safe. But a few extra prayers and good wish to all of those deploying with the 101st Airborne out of Fort Campbell TN would be greatly appreciated. Thank you too all who serve and to their families that support them. God Bless America!

Posted - Feb 23 2011 : 08:16:24 AM Betty Jo and Tammy...I'll be praying for your boys..one deployed several days ago and one going in May. It must be so hard. I can't imagine. My prayer as a Christian is that there be a band of angels with and surrounding our boys and girls who are gone from our lands. May God not only protect physically, but mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Blessings on you and your families, as it must take a tole on you too. :0)

Posted - Feb 23 2011 : 08:00:13 AM My prayers will be with your son. Betty Jo, thank you. Thank you as their mother, for raising proud serving sons. It has got to be such a tough time, to send then off, yet such a proud moment as well.(((hugs))) to the proud mama. Thank you to your boys as well of course. Without men like them, life would be more like prison. Prayers for wisdom, and strength, and safety coming your way! Psalm 121:8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!! |

Posted - Feb 18 2011 : 2:32:33 PM Betty Jo - Can totally understand where you are. My son just got back from Iraq a year ago and they're deploying him again in May to Afghanistan. He's stationed out of Ft. Hood, Tx.
