Janice just called and when I asked her how she was doing? her rsponse was "Wonderful!!!" so I turned into a puddle right then and there. She IS approved for the donor list and the next step is to just wait. I know that everyones prayers and well wishes are a huge part of this small step to a better healthier life for a wonderful person. Thank you all so very much for your "voice" of prayers. Please continue to pray so that she can recover fully from this bad liver she has. I am without words....I am a puddle....but I am doing cartwheels in my living room....GOD IS GOOD. Bless you all. Love, Daizy

Hay Ya'll, My older sister has been going thru a battery of tests to see if she is eligable for a liver transplant....to see if she can be put on the donor recipiant list. She is only in her mid 50's and has such a huge heart....2 lovely daughters and a fantastic husband and she has a deep faith also. Please add her to your list of prayers so that the doctors will evaluate her tests and find her elligable for placement on the liver transplant list. This is only the first phase of a long journey for her but she must pass all the tests to even move forward. They will be finalizing their decision on Thursday and be letting her know. PLEASE send up your prayers...prayer is SO strong and I know that all my MJF sisters are so wonderful and so many that "from our hearts to GODS ear" he hears us. Through Him all things are possible....Bless you all.

Love and Prayers,
Your SISTER

What wonderful news! God is good!!!!

Happy it is, indeed, for me that my heart is capable of feeling the same simple and innocent pleasure as the peasant whose table is covered with food of his own rearing, and who not only enjoys his meal, but remembers with delight the happy days and sunny mornings when he planted it, the soft evenings when he watered it, and the pleasure he experienced in watching it’s daily growth.

Daizy, I pray that your sister will have her transplant soon...before your birthday. May God grant a liver that is so very compatible with her own, that she may not have any problem with any rejection process. May you have the opportunity to pray together for her surgery. Will pray for good outcomes.

Praying with you, for a donor liver before your birthday! God is mighty, and your "twisted sister campout" in 2012 is a wonderful plan. Gods timing is perfect, but if we continue to agree together mountains will move!

The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.

Hay ya'll, I have n't been able to update about my sisters condition in a long time so I will do that now. She is still on the transplant list and is being tested monthly now to be sure she is still a candidate. No surgery is scheduled yet but the doctors tell her that people usually have it happen within one year.. I told her this weekend when I saw her that I was praying she would have it before my birthday which is August 5 and that we would all three be going on our annual "Twisted Sisters Campout" in the fall of 2012, just like we use to. I am praying really hard for this to happen. She has a daughter that just graduated from Auburn and another one that is considering starting a family soon. Your prayers have helped and meant so much to me and the her. Please continue to pray. God Bless you for your open arms of love.

Love and Prayers, Daizy

This is good news!! When I was in high school, my dad (who was also in his 50's) finally got his liver transplant. It was a very difficult time, and there was a lot of information that was kept from me at the time that I wish I'd had. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or just want to commiserate. I know you don't know me from Adam, but I do understand the anxiety that lies in the waiting. Over a decade later, and Dad is still doing great!

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!
