Posted - Mar 14 2011 : 4:29:10 PM I just learned that my friend's son was exposed to heavy radiation in Japan. He's 22. While we are all greatly relieved that he made it through the earthquake and the tsunami, his mother is all but broken in half over this sad turn of events.
Kindly remember Will in your prayers.
Thank you,
Karen
NEW INFORMATION: The report was WRONG!!! Will's mom had misinterpreted her son's email message. There is concern and a need to leave the area but Will has NOT been directly affected by radiation. His mom, being overcome with worry, misread the email. Will called his mom and straightened things out. While this is wonderful news, Will is still in danger and can use your continued prayers.
Thank you Farmgirl sisters, Karen

Posted - Mar 15 2011 : 05:36:48 AM I just received this update:
The information was WRONG!!!
My friend's son had been communicating via email and his mother misinterpreted what he wrote (her being half out of her wits with worry I can understand how that might happen).
In any case, Will managed to call his mom and straighten her out. There is great concern for high levels of radiation in his area and he is trying to figure out how to get out of the area safely but, so far at least, he has NOT been directly affected.
I have no doubt that this fine outcome is due, at least in part, to your kind prayers. Thank you so much!
Karen
