My SIL had a tramatic birth that resulted in severe brain damage and cerebal palsy. She *should* have only lived hours but instead a miracle happened and she managed to live 36 years, relatively healthy. Until this last year. She has been hospitalized multiple times through the last year, had severe yeast infections that have covered her body, and multiple other things.
Late this morning we recieved word that she is in the hospital with liver failure, intestinal failure, lungs 80% filled with fluid, and major dehydration. There are no options except to make her comfortable.
My dh is with his family now watching the minutes go by and spending the last moments with her. We all hope her passing is quick and peaceful.
If you would please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. It will be a tough week.
