Posted - Jun 13 2011 : 1:11:29 PM Hello everyone,
thank you everyone for sending cards and good wishes. Each one delighted her that someone she did not know would take the time to wish her well. The battle to regain health was not to be won. the cancer was very aggressive and a couple of days ago she acquired a blood infection. Saturday morning she was moved to hospice and given a 3 to 5 day guess at further life. That journey is now complete. she passed this afternoon. Her family is gathering now. Hugs to you all.

Posted - May 19 2011 : 06:45:32 AM Update:
So, they opened her up yesterday and found that her bowel had three places that would soon be obstructed so they attached a bag. They also found that the cancer had many, many spots of more than one centimeter so they closed her back up and are going to do a twelve week regime of chemo to see if the cancers will become less. Then at the end of the twelve weeks they will decide if they should operate again or ........ now she is on a morphine drip to ease the pain.
Praying what ever her journey is to be that it is easy and not too painful.
