says that she is at death's door due to anemia and her body is very out of balance. Recommended a blood transfusion. The job has worn her down horribly. Please join with me in prayer that her body will come into alignment properly and that the miserable job that has worn her down so badly will also come into alignment with God's word. I am so worried about her.

wanted to see how things are going for you all? i had to get iron infusions for 8 years. i would go in and they would put iron in my vein. it kept me going for over 8 years. now i hold at 10 to 12 for my hemoglobin. i was 4.9 very low. so there is lots of hope. i am still here after 10 years. so hang in there. i am sending love hugs and a prayer sherrye

Cherime you and your family have never left my prayers - I know the healing will be complete and health is on it's way. I also just found your email - computer placed it in a file - not sure why so I will be emailing you later. Blessings for taking the time to send such info and love. Long distant hugs around you.

So far DD holding her own. But her dad died and so much falls on her and her DH. They are both sweethearts even if my DSIL is a type A person and gets just a bit shaken by all this large family we have. He always settles down and digs into his reserves and bounces back. I am looking for a good report from that doctor in a couple of months after DD has taken the full term of the iron supplement. Please continue to pary for a good report and full recovery of all her organs from the ravages of that miserable diabetes. Thanks all and know that I check every morning for prayer requests and I will continue to lift up all who are needing His touch.

Will keep her in my prayers for sure! My husband is diabetic and we are going through a major surgery on his foot right now. The easist thing to remember is the carb count versus exchanges. Just make sure she has no more than 40 carbs per meal, that includes those hidden ones. Lentils are super!! And in terms of protein, I just read the highest protein actually comes from grated parmassian cheese believe it or not! I'd stick with a lot of fish too.

Hi Cherime, I hope things are looking better for your daughter. My own DD has Betathalassemia minor, which causes her to be chronically anemic and hypoxic (low oxygen). If she were betathalassemic major she would NEED blood transfusions. It's a genetic trait from my DH's side (mediterranean.) I only mention this in case it could be a solution for your own DD. There are medicines that will build a person's blood supply, or even living in high altitude. If any information I posted can help you, please let me know. Our family has been dealing with this since DDs birth.

I am so sorry to read of the horrible health issues you DD is facing - I will place you all in my prayers and healing light. It seems so many are struggling right now - I have to believe there is a high good involved. You have been so kind to keep me in your prayers and I hope that my humble prayers and love for you will assist you in this time of trouble. Together we are so strong - you have taught me this....

Lentils are great for diabetics as far as I understand- high nutrition and protien value without the carb load of other beans.

Have you tried using liquid chlorophyll? It is excellent for a variety of blood issues and anemia is definitely one of them--plus you should see some relatively quick results.

I wish for blessings on your family, you are in my thoughts. If your daughters body is unable to process iron, may I suggest that you go to an altenative health practicner. do some research on the internet regarding pernacious anemia... some of the sources of iron that is very useable for our bodies is surprizing and it does not involve meat. Lentils as all beans are a good source of iron, easy to digest but I don't know if its something that a diabetic can eat. but please have her take an active care in her health... ask questions... doc's don't always Know everything.
Cherime Posted - Jul 09 2011 : 09:35:56 AM
Thank you all for your prayer. Nothing new to report right now. As a diabetic her diet is restricted so she cannot eat as much nice red meat as she needs. She is taking supplements for iron but they don't seem to be working.
All the new technical stuff in medicine is great if you have access to it. My DSL is self employed and they do not have any health insurance but the garbage through her work which has a $6K deductible. That is the main reason my DH died of something that if caught early could have been treated. So thank you for all your prayer as so ofter God is our only resource.

Cherime~ I am praying right now. I Know that what I am about to say will sound crazy in today's economy but - maybe she should look for another job if this one is causing her to be so sick. Nothing is worth losing one's health over - and she just seems to be fighting an uphill battle. in any case my thoughts and prayers are with her and with you.
