Jonni, I am so sorry for all your losses. And I think it's a good idea to get help. I didn't realize the loss of my very best friend has affected me in so many ways. And she's just been gone 3 months. I miss her so much. And when I went to this counselor because of my daughter she asked me if I had anyone to talk to. I just broke down. And that's when I realized how much she has meant to me all these years. So yes, go find a good counselor and talk about all these feelings you are having. Plus the fact you're having neighbor problems makes it even worse. Please know I am thinking about you. And I will pray that you can find the right counselor that will help you and that you can work things out with your neighbor and be safe. Sending you hugs and love.

Kris

You can say that again, Karin! I appreciate your good thoughts--I'm looking forward to Autumn, a season where most things are going to bed, but I do my best "housekeeping" of my spirit and mind.

Jonni, I am so sorry for all the losses you have had this year. I know how easy it is for a thought to take hold in your mind and push out all rational thought. Will keep you in my prayers for peace of mind and healing from your grief.

Hey girls--I removed my post because after I'd written it--it was written with a lot of stream of consciousness thoughts--though exactly the way I felt--terrified. After reading what I wrote, it made me get a real grip on myself, oddly enough. I sounded really crazy, really scared. And reading that made me a little angry at myself! Suffice it to say, the death of my friend and his son, in a most violent way, well, the fear and disbelief transferred to the fight I'd had with my awful neighbor--would she do the same thing? It was such a similar situation! And so, all the realization that this world can be such a terrible, scary place overwhelmed me for a few days. I'm grateful that you girls cared enough to ask--I talked with my husband, which helped a lot, and I actually think I might still talk to a professional, simply because of the multitudes of loss we've experienced this year that I really didn't think affected me, but actually has...6 deaths in less than a year is a lot.

Jonni, I hope that everything is okay. If not, I definitely send prayers and hugs your way.
