Posted - Jan 27 2012 : 3:52:58 PM Sisters, I know I'm new here, but I'm hoping you can send your prayers to a friend of mine. Today my friend had to testify in court against her own son because he committed the ultimate sin of taking someone's life. I would never ask for prayers on his behalf, because I, as well as my friend, feel he is deserving of any punishment he receives. I am asking for it on her behalf. She raised her family in the church, tries to be a good person and this is breaking her heart and spirit, to put it mildly. I just ask that her heart and spirit find peace because I know this day was torture for her. Any prayers and good wishes you can send is very much appreciated.
****Thank you everyone for your support. Just found out that the trial has been rescheduled from March to August. I guess we'll just have to wait even longer for some closure. Please keep praying for my friend. Thank you again ladies!****

I will keep you and your friend in my prayers this difficult time. I cannot begin to imagine what she may be going through, and I pray that God will give her strength and support. She already has great support in you.

Posted - Jan 29 2012 : 3:09:07 PM What a terrible situation! I will keep everyone involved in my thoughts. It's good to know she has a supportive friend, though, which is such an amazing help to her at this time when she probably feels like her whole world is falling apart.

Posted - Jan 27 2012 : 5:33:00 PM Thank you ladies. I'm just so worried about her. She won't hardly talk about it because she's so ashamed. it's obvious she's losing weight and not sleeping. I know her family has encouraged her to seek help, but I think she's too embarrassed to go.

Posted - Jan 27 2012 : 4:02:05 PM I will pray for her and her son because of this terrible sin in taking some one's life.I know what she is going through. Friends of ours there son and another man killed a manager where thrie son used to work .They wanted money for drugs. Both pleaded guilty so they didnt get the death penalty.Life in prison no parole. So I know exactly what your friend is going through. It was horrible. Our friend moved out of state for about eight yrs. She said she just couldnt deal with it. But she did move back a year ago. Will be praying . Blessings Marlee |
