Posted - Nov 17 2012 : 04:58:48 AM I'm having a hysteroscopy which is a scope to view my uterus. Possibly remove my fibroids & a tumor I have (during the hysteroscopy). next is a D & C then an ablation.
I have to be at the hospital at 6am.
Would appreciate all the prayers I can get. Thanks ladies!

Posted - Nov 29 2012 : 05:23:02 AM I've had a set back. Spent Monday into Tuesday in the ER. Couldn't find the source of my bleeding. Dr. on call mentioned perhaps the procedure failed. I could just cry. Gave me meds to stop the bleeding which have worked. Today is the best I've felt in almost 2 weeks. I still get crampy and worry that it's about to start all over again. Please pray that the procedure worked and that Monday was just a fluke.

Posted - Nov 20 2012 : 1:54:19 PM Besides the ablation & D&C she removed some fibroid tumors I had. 1 was just on the outside of my cervix. She thinks that one was the troublemaker. I'm just happy it's all over with.
Pushing the fluids to get this anethesia out of my system. Not fun at all.

Posted - Nov 20 2012 : 08:16:08 AM Ouch! Take it a bit easy and be extra kind to yourself for a few days. Drink plenty of fluids to get the anesthesia out of your system, that should help a lot to make you feel better. I'm very glad that everything went well though, and hoping that you can avoid the d & c or ablation. My sister had an ablation and it was no fun at all. Take care dear!
p.s. I'm so glad to be past meno and hope to never have to use a pad again too!
Hugs and get better wishes!

Posted - Nov 20 2012 : 04:51:50 AM Thank you all for the prayers! Yesterday was a bit rough. Quite painful just coming out of surgery. It got a little better as the day went on. Just taking ibuprofen & using the heating pad. Today I have no cramping, just a headache and some nausea.
I'm praying i will never, ever have to use an overnight pad again in my life!
