Posted - Jul 23 2013 : 07:49:22 AM Has anyone been over to Kristina's Blog? I was there yesterday and was reading what all had happened to them. They had another storm hit them and this time there was a propane leak and a fire started under the hot water heater and then I think the dryer also. Kristina put the fire out. She called 911 and got the kids and the pets out. The fire department came and shut the propane off and made sure it was okay. They are all okay but have issues with the house. Her internet and phone is down. I don't know what all else is wrong but there are other issues concerning the propane lines. She went to the library and posted what had happened.
Go over to her Bog and read what all happened if you have time. I feel so bad for them and how scary to have all that happen. Her and her family could use some prayers and support from all us farmgirls.

I only touched on her story a little. But how scary to have the propane all of a sudden ignite in 2 different places during a bad storm.
Kristina praying for your family and your kitty. Take care.
Linda

Posted - Jul 24 2013 : 2:38:53 PM I talked to my girl friend who is farmgirl Nubidane (Lisa) and they too were hit by lightning. It blew there fence charger off the wall and knocked out there phones and internet. I forgot what all she told me the lightning destroyed but I know they have things in there house that will have to be replaced and fixed. Having her internet down is bad because she does all her reports on there and sends them out via internet. So she was unable to work for several days. So they are playing catchup and trying to get things fixed and working again.
Praying for you too Lisa.......hang in there. Hopefully Lisa and Kristina will get things back to normal. Lightning has really effected many people I know this year. Crazy weather for sure this year.
Take care.

Posted - Jul 23 2013 : 2:18:18 PM Prayers for Kristi and her family. I emailed her earlier to check in as we are normally in contact via email etc, but I know her internet and all has been down. It seems there was a pin hole leak in their propane line. so although, this was a scary accident, I think she is thankful that it turned out this way. Otherwise the propane leak could have caused gas poisoning, and they may have fell prey to the gas leak! Thank God for watching out for them all! Continued prayers going out to them that things calm down a bit there, and start to look up! Thank you Linda for posting and asking for prayers for them! Hugs,

Posted - Jul 23 2013 : 10:02:27 AM I have not talked to Kristina personally. I just went to her Blog and thats when I read what had happened to her and her family. I am not sure of their needs at this time except for prayer. Hopefully when she can get back one Maryjanes she can fill us in more if there is anything any of us can do. But for now prayer is good. I will check her Blog again tomorrow and see if there are any updates.
