P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!! |

Posted - Dec 01 2010 : 05:56:04 AM The Homecoming was written by Earl Hamner Jr. who also wrote Spencers Mountain. It is one of my favorite books. He also was the narrator on the series the Waltons and the series and the books were written about his family.

Posted - Dec 01 2010 : 03:32:49 AM Hannah, Louisa May Alcott wrote a Christmas book. I can't remember the name of it, but I know my girls and I read it when they were teenagers. There is always Dickens' Christmas Carol. If you want silly, there's John Grisham's Skipping Christmas. The Christmas Sweater by Glenn Beck is one I will be reading this year. Last year I found the The Christmas Train by David Baldacci and really enjoyed it! That's all I can think of for now!

Posted - Nov 23 2010 : 5:17:34 PM I can't remember the author's name but he wrote "The Homecoming" which was the basis for the Waltons TV show. I guess it's still in print. It's really good. Cindy
