Chicos was having a sale and I bought a pair of their jeans. Never purchased any clothing there before, only jewelry. I have a friend who wears the Chicos skinny, slimming jeans and she raves about them. But, frugal farm girl that I am, am not willing to pay $100 for a pair of jeans. I ended up getting the on sale pair for $39.99. These are the most comfortable jeans I've ever owned. They are slimming, but most important, they wear well, very bendable and have nice looking stitched back pockets. These fit me better than Levis.

Hmmmm...must try to find the time to try a pair of Chicos jeans. I'm having a heck of a time finding jeans ever since my Levi's retired my style I love. I have a smaller waist than my bottom---lol lol lol boy that sounds funny but you know what I mean. :)

Finding jeans that you like and that "like" you is certainly reason to celebrate.

Congratulations

It's always a thrill to find a good-fitting pair of jeans! I've been wearing Eddie Bauer jeans for years and I sure like them.

Marly,

They do contain 11% elasterell, but they aren't stretchy like some I've had (Gloria Vanderbilt is one that comes to mind). Most of those stretchy ones are too stretchy and the GV's always looked frayed and rippled around the zipper/upper thigh area after they'd been washed a couple of times. The Chicos I have are the Platinum Denim. They're not as dressy looking as the Chicos dark blue slimming jeans, which are $100 right now.
