Okay - let's do it! We'll kick off our next round of the Traveling Craft Box Swap. (I lost count so I won't keep track of the box number anymore.)
Here’s how it works:
The first person fills up a large flat rate box with all kinds of craft items to share/pass on. The box is mailed to the first swapper on the list. The next person receives the box, goes through and takes out what she wants and adds her stuff to the box. Whether she takes a lot or little is up to her, but she has to fill the box up again for the next person on our list.
This is a fun way to pass on supplies you don’t use anymore and you never know what treasures you might find. Please package up smaller items to keep them from getting lost. It also makes the box neater and easier to pack.
We’ll mail using a large flat rate box so shipping will be the same for everyone. Currently the large flat rate box is $22.45.
When you receive the box, please post here and let us know you have received it. We can shoot for a 7 day turn around - keeping holidays in mind - it's a busy time of the year. Post when you have shipped it on to the next person on the list. Please include the tracking number as it will be fun to “watch” our box travel.
Craft box swappers - please email me your mailing address. I will include the mailing list in the box. When you receive the box, just cross off your name and send it to the next Farm Girl on the list.

I'd love to start another box. Would January be okay to get it started? That way it won't get mixed into all of our holiday to-do's.

I'm so glad someone posted in this thread because I couldn't find it to say that I had found some darling quilt pieces and other treasures before I put it into the mail last week. I had to make an emergency trip to my sons out of state. Flight delayed...then cancelled...rebooked...then delayed again! ..while there I cut open my arm while washing dishes. ugh Was home alone without a car and had to wait over an hour for someone to get to me to help...had to have 7 stitches..What a weekend! (so I've been MIA for a bit Anyway, I forwarded the box on. Hope it was received.

The Box Arrived! I haven't had a chance to sit down and go through it yet, had to work today. That's on my list for tomorrow morning. Going to try to get through it before the busy, busy week gets away from me. Oh...by the way....IT'S PACKED! HUGE! Should be fun to explore!

Hi everyone :)
I'm up with my granddaughter this week. We celebrated her first birthday this weekend. I was in a cabin without much connectivity but now I'm settled in their house.
I've been in touch with Jean too and am so sorry to hear that's she's having trouble accessing the boards. It sounds like she found some goodies in the box and packed it full before she sent it on it's way.
Just a note that I did ask at our post office and they still had the large gameboard size priority boxes in the back and said we just needed to ask for them.
Hope everyone is staying warm out there - it's finally chilly here in Texas.

Jean isn't the only one have computer issues! I think they are changing things on computers again. I had to upgrade to Windows 10. My computer on Gmail was much faster today. MMM maybe that is the problem. The computer companies.

I would have had more in there if I could have used the other flat rate box the Post Office stopped using.

I received the box today and found a few goodies in the pic above. I would say the packing award goes to Darlene, lol. This box is packed to the gills, and it took me several times trying to get the box closed. I wasn’t able to pack all that I had picked to send, oh well, maybe next time.
