Posted - Jul 11 2008 : 4:28:44 PM Clare, I got the tea party sundress. My favorite sewing shop is stocking the patterns, she has 3 other ones too and I have a new granddaughter so I might be buying more. I was warned that it takes a long time to sew because of all the details, what was your experience? Amy Grace

Posted - Jul 02 2008 : 3:20:04 PM Twins mom said the girls LOVE their dresses. Mom also loves the dresses and said they will be saved forever. She said they look fantastic on. I told her to take phot, email it to me so I can post of them wearing dresses. Wil lwait unti lafter Fourth as she is saving these for a big family party.
Notice two yo-yos come to rescue as decorative accents. I still appreciate those yo-yo swaps.

Posted - Jun 26 2008 : 4:40:31 PM Amy, her pattern was easy to follow with good drawings. However, if you have not sewed before, I would suggest trying out a few patterns before this one. There was one tricky part with attaching the skirt to bodice on back with the placket. Otherwise, the pattern was fine. There was some handsewing in it. The lining is batiste, and it is sewn so the elastic gathered edge is enclosed and all seams are enclosed between the lining and dress.
I gave the jumper pattern to my frined, but she felt intimidated by it. She has been sewing a little less than a year.
