I went to the dollar store today and bought some nice glasses for our new apartment. I even checked the tag and yup! Made in America! Wow!
But then the even more surprising thing- when I was checking out they wrapped them in paper for me- and it wasn't plain paper or newspaper or even newsprint paper- No...It was beautiful tissue paper! Beautiful designs and some thicker, some tissue paper thin. I couldn't believe it! I even commented on it and the checkout lady said she had been surprised as well when she started. I guess this store always uses that kind of paper!
I kept all the non torn pieces and am going to use them in crafts and such! I feel like I got two things for the price of one! And the check out girl was very generous with the paper! :D

That's where I get my glasses too. I was shocked the first time too about the tissue paper. Was that Dollar Tree? Cause that's where I get mine, and how they wrap them? BTW, I noticed some of the exact same glasses at Kmart in the Martha Stewart collection, for more money! |
