Posted - Jan 08 2010 : 08:05:53 AM Just thought I'd share the cutest thing. They are dresses made for Barbie size dolls and they are made from vintage hankies. It's called Hankie Couture and I found it on eBay but the creative gal behind it all has a website with a gallery of her designs. So cute! http://www.hankiecouture.com/

Posted - Jan 27 2010 : 11:24:48 AM Tanya, I am always finding old hankies in greatcondition for just pennies at thrift stores and garage sales. Even antique stores have them for a dollar or two each. Good luck
Forget buns of steel, I'd rather have buns of cinnamon!

Posted - Jan 27 2010 : 10:23:29 AM Those are the sweetest dress ever. My grand-daughter,Macee,has enjoyed learning to sew, she's 10. She will love these and it will be a fun project for the two of us to do together. |

Posted - Jan 23 2010 : 6:30:55 PM I ended up buying the book! The doll dresses are so cute. I don't really sew small things like that anymore, but maybe I can try a few. It's really hard finding "NEW" hankies. I saw some on Ebay any other ideas????

Posted - Jan 08 2010 : 8:03:54 PM I bought the book as a late Christmas present to myself and I had a lot of fun browsing through it. She has done some amazing dresses with just a little hankie.
