Posted - Jan 31 2010 : 2:14:00 PM I am looking for slightly used but still in good condition ----Men's ties!
I will need quite a few actually....
Any color-Any fabric
My husband is a welder and honestly I think he owns only two ties that I can think of....hence ---no help there!
Let me know if you are willing to go through your husbands old ties I would be more than willing to pay for cost of the ties plus shipping!
Thank you ladies!

Posted - Feb 01 2010 : 05:31:30 AM I saw a ton at the local thrift as well. Check this out! http://sewingwithneckties.blogspot.com/ Some of these dresses are like "wow...amazing"!! Not to mention the ton-o resources and links. I was thinking of the craftbits necktie bag when I saw your post and went looking for it and found the blog instead... be sure to check out the link to the Easter Eggs. Dyeing Easter Eggs with silk ties! Oh so beautiful!
Ummmm...sorry Melody...now I'll have to save all my thriftstore ties for myself!....(but if I find them for 25 cents each I'll let you know) :-) |

Posted - Jan 31 2010 : 4:23:01 PM I made a bunch of wind socks outa ties several years back, and got all mine at the local thrift stores. My late hubby was a diesel mechanic, so he had no ties at all, lol.
