Afternoon,
I am working on a square called "Christian Cross" in the Elenor Burns Egg Money Quilt book. Is anyone familiar with this? She keeps asking me to cut half strips and I'm not sure if it is length or down the middle. There are two places where she asks you to do this and one she says cut in half which is easy, but then she calls some "half-strips". I am at a standstill with my square. Please help

I can't find that book just now but her instructions in the others are cut in half length wise selvage to selvage.If you are still not comfortable with this you can go to her site and e-mail questions.

Thanks Diana I have only made one other quilt and it was a block of the month with a lot of direction for beginners. I really love Eleanor Burns as a teacher though. I hope to get her Victory quilt book too.

Half strips are usually the strip of cloth cut from selvage to selvage just cut in half.But let me get her book and check again.
