Posted - Feb 28 2010 : 2:53:32 PM I have been wanting to learn how to make beaded jewelry for sometime now and have finally decided that now is the time. The problem is- I have no idea where to begin! I have been up and down the aisles at Jo-Ann's and Michael's a zillion times and am just overwhelmed.
I am hoping some of you may be able to direct me to a starting place. A book, a tutorial, a simple beginner's project. Anything, please.
Thank you! Melanie

Posted - Mar 01 2010 : 6:28:20 PM Thank you so much, Lisa! I found a book that kind of goes over the basics and bought the basic tools today. I think that is my biggest stumping block right now- is just how to start because I don't know anything about making jewelry. But the book I found is pretty straight forward. But if I get stumped I will surely send you an email.

Posted - Feb 28 2010 : 3:27:16 PM I would say start at youtube there are tutorials about everything there. Maybe they have a beginner easy jewelry bead project. Another free thing to do is go to the library. Good luck...have fun1 and show us what you make!
