Posted - Jan 03 2011 : 09:16:17 AM I took a class several years ago and love it. Have made several rugs and some trivets. I have been making the rugs using yarn rather than fabric but haven't been able to figure out how much yarn to use.

Posted - Jan 02 2011 : 1:09:51 PM I love locker hooking. I've made a small rug and some trivets to match my kitchen decor. It's a great way to use up scraps of fabric and make something nobody else has. The trivets make great gifts too - one of a kind. Enjoy yourself. |

Posted - Jan 02 2011 : 1:08:26 PM Hi Lisa,
I lockerhook and love it. It's faster than braiding, very relaxing once you get your rythum going and hides a lot of mistakes and still looks great, also a great way to use small pieces of fabric. I usually cut up old clothing. The rugs also wash great in the washer. Have fun you will have one done in no time.
