Kiki hogged my chair, thank goodness I have an extra one...

In the mean time I finished up a table runner...just because I was in the mood to sew something...

Now all I need to do is a wee bit of hand/top stitching... and then it will go in the trailer along with all the other goodies I have stitched this summer.

here is a better pic of the table runner...

I have a friend a few counties over who puts her sewing away every night to keep her cats out--- I prefer the get out of here or die right now method, And low and behold I have the fattest oldest cats in the county and the most spoiled. Cat hair do get tedious ladies.

                | katmom | Posted - Sep 27 2019 : 1:56:44 PM Yep, spools of thread, retractable measure tapes, pencils and snippers somehow always manage to end up on the floor... and when I question both the dog and cat.... I get blank stares from them! Hmmm!

HG56, thank goodness this Kitty doesn't shed except in Spring and I constantly am brushing her...

I have 4 vintage sewing machine consoles in my sewing room which makes perfect extra surface. One is my granny's 1902 White foot treedle machine.(not in this photo).

                | HollerGirl56 | Posted - Sep 27 2019 : 11:18:20 AM Nice sewing room---is your machine setting on an old treadle sewing machine? Looks like it---I have mine on one. And is that a wine glass by the machine? I can no longer sew and enjoy a glass of wine because I have diabetes---getting older do get tedious. I hate cats in my sewing room hairing it up. I keep the door shut to all the rooms upstairs because of them. Too many cats is not wise. No more for me after these six are gone---too old to raise any more kittens and I am tired of cleaning up cat hair.
