OK, so quite some years back, Maryjane, and one of her lovely staff people made repurposed lampshades. They took the fabric/paper off the lampshades so all that was left was the wire frame ,then they cut strips of fabric and tied strips allalong the top and down the side and in between etc. I know I’ve got a picture of the one Rene Groom made many years ago, but I think it’s on my old computer. That being said I was out junktiquing in Coeur d’Alene Idaho yesterday and found another cute idea to do with old lampshades… Wrapping those little fairy lights around it. Can you imagine fairy lights and little crystal beads? Oh I think I’m in Glamping heaven! I asked if I could take a few pictures and they said yes. So here they are.

I love this idea Grace. I have a shade just like that has been sitting for a couple years as I was trying to figure out how to repurpose it, got it now! Thanks Grace.
