Posted - Sep 10 2005 : 10:23:45 AM well hello there fellow farm girls and fellow canadians. I was just wondering since I'm new to this farming (my husband isn't, he's the 3rd generation) I thought that I could get a woman's perspective on how you manage to find time for yourselves when there are so many chores to do. The reason why I'm asking for fellow Canadians is I'm also trying to learn how to garden and was wondering when is the best time to start planting things "up north"? Thanks for your replies, mella

Posted - Sep 07 2005 : 11:01:38 AM As a Washingtonian, I will fill you in!! It's the opening lyrics to the Dixie Chick's song "Cowboy, Take Me Away." One of the best songs, great byline Melanie.

Posted - Sep 07 2005 : 08:22:28 AM Melanie, Welcome! Not a Canuck, but I'm in a neighboring state. I wanted to ask who your quote is attributed to? I know I've heard those as song lyrics, but I can't place it. Love it.
