He is also an extraordinary horse photographer. We also have a local photographer named Kaley Broberg whose work I really enjoy. I love her ability to capture personalities and every day moments. I don't know that my photos reflect exactly their style but I love everyday moments, textures and pictures that make you ask questions or awaken your senses.

This was for my expert photography badge. We had taken a road trip to Arizona last fall and I took a lot of pictures, which is something new for me. I am not a great photographer and learned a few things! One..great photos don't just happen. Two...take what your eye first sees and figure out how to bring it forward. Three...don't be afraid to play around with your camera settings. Four...use "lines" to bring the eye towards your main focus. And five...no matter how you try, a photo won't always capture the beauty of being there and seeing it first hand!
