Posted - Aug 16 2008 : 6:08:07 PM I was given a couple of leeks from my friend's CSA paackage. The only recipes I can find are for soup and it isn't soup weather where I am. SO....can I clean, slice and freeze these to make soup later??? Any help or recipe ideas appreciated! Sharon

Posted - Aug 17 2008 : 07:03:58 AM Go to allrecipes.com. I found several other recipes by doing an ingrediant search for leeks. Also make sure you read up on how to clean them. Because of how they grow they can get quite sandy. After you cut them you will want to give them several clean water baths. But they ate so yummy!
