Posted - Jul 18 2009 : 2:43:24 PM So, I have a bumper crop of green onions and basil. It's not even funny. There's no way I can use all of these onions-or the basil. Do any of you ladies save onions or basil? How do you freeze it/package it?

Posted - Jul 18 2009 : 3:17:21 PM Cut up, put in ice cube trays, fill the trays with water, freeze.. Then pop out the onion or basil cubes & keep in a zip lock in the freezer. Then you have it all winter long. Just take a cube or two for your soup, pasta sauce etc.. I do this w/parsley as well... Works great! |
