With all of this enthusiastic wild violet and dandelion talk, it occurred to me that I really didn't know which flowers were edible and which were not. So here ya go! I found a pretty extensive list of edible flowers and a list of poisonous ones. Flower jellies are are so appropriate for spring and for good old fashioned tea parties!.
I'm gonna have a pantry full of pretty jellies this summer!

As an aside, I found out that I was allergic to nasturtiums by eating them in a salad...so do use caution!!! I haven't had a reaction to violets or dandelions :)
