I've already tried the Scone recipe and one of the Pan breads too! Anyone else cooking with the Budget Mix? I did a little post about it on my blog too.. pop over if you have a chance...

Posted - Aug 20 2010 : 12:38:09 PM Hi Deb, I bought the budget mix with the book in the FG totebag - I can't resist a FG style, genuine, made in the USA tote (darling!) So far, I've made a bakeover - cauliflower, potatoes, onions. I grabbed my large shaker of seasoned salt (or so I thought) and sprinkled in a generous sprinkle. Too late, my nose told me I had grabbed the celery salt instead. Oh happy accident - it was delicious! I love the flavor of the budget mix crust and got the joy of using my cast-iron skillet. I enjoy your blog and the photos of your honest, cottage kitchen - the counters are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings, staci FG# 973 :o )
