Hey ladies,
I cooked with asparagus for the first time tonight. I made Asparagus & Tomato pizza (check it out at: www.applesaucemom.blogspot.com)
Does anyone have any other good recipes for asparagus? I'm totally unfamiliar with it...
I am going to bake it or saute it with some oil in a pan; but what else can I do with it? |

We eat asparagus a lot of ways...I love it grilled with olive oil, kosher salt and cracked pepper.
I also love it in cream of asparagus soup. I posted a recipe for that on this forum in the Spring, I think. REALLY good (and good for you, too!)

I like it steamed or on the grill. Cut into a spaghetti sauce. Added to other veggies in a stir fry. I'm surprised you are finding asparagus this time of year. Actually my favorite way to eat it is raw. wash and nibble. yummy.
