I didn't copy and paste the whole page, but there is a lot of information on pumpkins and this wonderful sounding Butternut Squash Pie recipe to try! Go give it a read and try the recipe. It sound yummy!
Just in case you are low on pumpkin in your area this year, this could be a tasty alternative !

Posted - Sep 20 2010 : 7:28:55 PM This is the same recipe my grandma gave me a few years back. I have been makin that, and a squash bake with pecans on top similar to mashed sweet potato bake, for years. My family loves them! They taste very much the same as pumpkin pie and sweet potato bake, only with a milder taste. They are a wonderful alternative and very easy to make.

Posted - Sep 20 2010 : 4:49:21 PM Mmmm, might have to try that. I tend to not like a lot of squash unless it's cubd ina whole lot of veggies, or made into dessert. This sounds good!
