Posted - Aug 06 2011 : 11:45:25 AM I just made two batches of jam, one is apricot jalapeno, and the other is strawberry jalapeno, but, I think I put too much pepper in them. They are stinging hot! What else can I do with these besides put them on a cracker with cream cheese?

Posted - Aug 06 2011 : 10:15:11 PM I beg you to try it on ice cream, heat it up like you would hot fudge and then put it on the vanilla ice cream hot. It will be amazing! It's like fireworks for your tongue.
I had this recipe called Fire and Ice in a "healthy" cooking class I took once, it was a banana jalapeno glaze we made, and put on vanilla ice cream, I must admit I was very skeptical but boy was it amazingly good! The "heat" from the jalapeno and the sweet coldness from the ice cream confuses your taste buds but is soooo awesome! I would beg you to give it a try!
