Posted - Aug 05 2012 : 07:38:34 AM My pear tree is loaded this year and due to some much needed rain and too much wind, I had a number of windfalls. I gathered them and cooked them low and slow and then put them through a mill (press). I have beautiful pulp. Other years I have made pear butter, but wonder what else I could do. Any ideas and recipes? Thanks girls!

Posted - Aug 05 2012 : 08:51:43 AM Iam sure it would make yummy popsicles & would be alot easier to make than my idea to do pear butter. :)

Posted - Aug 05 2012 : 08:17:45 AM We love freezing pear juice for popsicles, Gail; it' SUCH a refreshing treat! I wonder if your pear pulp would work to make frozen fruit bars? I bet it would be delicious! Good luck! - Nini
