Well, I've never made a kolach, but the word sounded like it might be Ukrainian and my mother-in-law left me an old Ukranian cookbook..

It was a lot to type so I scanned it instead. Hope this is what you are looking for.
I think you can copy it to your PC and then zoom in if it is too small to read.
