I like the hustle & bustle of a busy kitchen, but after awhile it does start to wear on me. When I haven't seen the top of my table for weeks because I'm either working on my mail art project or fresh produce waiting to be dry is piled high in bowls/baskets.

This morning I harvested the last basil plant to make basil vinegar. The vinegar is made and all drying, vinegar or butter making things are put away. My table top is cleared of everything except for the tea set that is supposed to be there - waiting for me to have a tea party of one.

For now all is quiet in my kitchen but a moments notice it will be busy again with all kinds of fun & good things to do.

I agree with you, Sara! It feels as though I haven't left my kitchen for two months!! This is really the first time all summer that I've been able to just sit and leisurely peruse the farmgirl forum!!
