Posted - Oct 06 2014 : 12:45:32 PM I have probably menioned that we love the free ads on Craigslist. Recently we got two big paper grocery bags of pineapple guavas. I planned to process them (into juice, jam and jelly) on sunday since we had a big family barbque here on saturday..... but with this crazy hot weather we have been having, I figured I better get them juiced real quick and do the rest later. We have a nice juicer that my sweetie had when we got together. It ended up like pea soup, but incredibly tasty! I love it mixed in with orange juice. I had been buying both orange and guava juice and mixing them myself before. This is so much better and fresher. No additives either! I plan to freeze portions of the guava in vacum bags and maybe I will make jelly later. Maybe not
Inside me there is a skinny girl crying to get out, but I can usually shut her up with cookies. |
