My DH and I never watch tv, except for morning news while we drink coffee, an occasional movie via NetFlix, or Downton Abbey. One day he watched an infomercial about Nutribullet (a side effect of all this snow and ice and below zero temps). He was impressed, so he picked one up at Costco.

I have to admit, I like it too. We have been eating more veggies, typically a "shake" for breakfast. We love avocado for creaminess, and frozen organic blueberries give it a big of sweet.

Anyone else use one? What are your thoughts? What are your favorite ingredients? I also like to put a little coconut oil in mine.

We bought one for our daughter Hannah at Christmas....She uses it every single day! A couple of times she has asked me to take a sip of her green concoctions and frankly, I thought this isn't too bad!

GREAT way to incorporate those veggies.

Our Nutribullet works just about as well as our Vitamix!!! I've even made a Thai curry paste in it (which my food processor tried to burn up doing!) It is great for smaller batches of tomatoes as well, to make tomato soup... we throw the tomatoes and other veggies in t, blend it up, then heat it. YUM! I have no clue how much either costs though... my in-laws blessed us with both (different years) for Christmas gifts! So I am not sure which is a better deal, though I know the Vitamix will warm things up if need be as well. And the Vitamix holds more at once.

Honestly, Terra it does. I am so impressed with that. I also used it to blend up some beans the other night to make mock alfredo sauce. We got a juicer last year, but there is so much pulp than is not used (the good fiber). We use it for making homemade Orange Juice, but use the Nutribullet much more. If i had a choice, I would get the Nutribullet over the juicer. So far, it has really been something we are happy with, and get my dh (a meat and potatoes guy) to boost his intake of veggies and fruit. It is also so much easier to clean than a juicer. It's quite easy to clean, actually.

I've looked at them but not purchased one yet. Does it really blend as effectively as it shows on tv? If so, that's amazing. So much so that I'd consider spending the $$ to get one. I'm glad you've posted. It helps me with my decision.
