Posted - Jul 13 2015 : 10:17:49 PM Hi Lorena, It’s best to use homemade ACV as a tonic, mixed into salad dressings, and for other general-purpose applications. If you do decide you want to try to make pickles with it, makes sure the pH is at least 4, if not lower. To be sure of the acidity, you can purchase pH test strips like these from amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Strips-Universal-Application-strips/dp/B00X9D4JS4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1436850196&sr=8-3&keywords=food+pH+strips
