I've been busy harvesting and drying herbs, canning dilly beans and jam. I'd say by weeks end I'll be picking zucchini and soon after tomatoes. The garden is exploding which is so exciting. I mean to be around more but it seems as if i'm doing 100 things a day LOL.

I put up 14 jars of blueberry jam today (1 jar broke in the canner).

AND when I get done with those things I have more sewing machines to work on. I feel dizzy LOL

what is everyone else up to?

Sara, I sure do love seeing the pantry fill up, it's a kind of security that I love. Never heard of pickled peaches, that sounds interesting.

Connie, you do have a busy kitchen and it will only get busier. Don't you just love seeing your pantry fill up with dried herbs, jams, pickles, dried tomatoes, and other goodies to come.

My sister offered me some peaches today, but I turned them down because I no longer can eat fresh peaches and I didn't want to make jam because I have lost my taste for sweet things.

After reading your post I think I will call my sister and take those peaches. Will try my hand at pickling them. I remember the spiced peaches from holiday dinners when I was growing up.
