Hello Farmgirls-

Has anyone ever made FLAVORED homemade marshmallows? I made some fabulous vanilla ones with ChillOver powder, and am curious to learn about anyone's successes or failures with funky flavored varieties?

A website selling gourmet marshmallows has a Bailey's Irish Cream selection -can you imagine that on an adult s'more?!

So I'd love to hear what worked, what didn't work, any comments on yummy favors of marshmallows.

Thanks-
Cindy

I have never made marshmallows..yet.....but I wonder if you could flavor with maple syrup? A friend has a sugar bush and they sell the usual products plus maple sugar cotton candy, caramel corn, and even a root beer. All of which are delicious.

Cindy,
I recommend you send an email to "Calicogirl" . . . Sharon and ask her because I know she has made flavored marshmallows. Her homemade "marshies" are wonderful. She lives near me and when I plan to have s'mores I buy marshies from her . . . no more store stuff!
But she might help you out!
