Posted - Sep 08 2015 : 05:52:59 AM For my son's birthday last weekend we decided to do ice cream sundaes or cones instead of cake. I thought that was a great opportunity to try out some of the ice cream toppings from the magazine. I made the hot fudge, and the salted caramel. The hot fudge was easy-peasy. The caramel was easy too, but I didn't stir it for a second and it started getting solid. There were a few hard parts I had to sift out, but it was definitely everyone's favorite. Thanks for the great recipes MJF!

Posted - Sep 08 2015 : 10:02:02 AM Jaime! That's funny. I've had that happen with blueberry jam before... when I was impatient so doubled the recipe. What an amateur! The ice cream toppings really were so good. And easy! I thought it was hilarious how impressed everyone was with the fact that I made them. I mean, I graciously accepted the accolades, but inside I was laughing! :)
