Posted - Nov 10 2008 : 11:28:52 AM Okay. I got a day reprieve on Sunday. The house and I were in negotiations so to speak. The white flag has been lowered and the cease-fire is off.
This morning I put away the dishes in the drain board and cleaned up Doug's dishes from last night.
Rewashed a load of laundry that got forgotten in the washer. Folded 3 loads of laundry.
Washed kitchen counters.
Swept kitchen floor.
Cleaned up Nora's disastrous room.
Shampooed kitchen area run and Nora's room.
Pulled all the dirty laundry into the laundry room.
Have loads processing right now
Stripped the bed.
Mixed herb seasoning for steaks and they are resting in the fridge.
Pulled out pork from freezer to defrost for dinner later this week.
Vacuumed living room to keep it up since it was cleaned on Saturday.
Pulled everything off the dining room floor, swept and mopped it. now I am in the process of waxing it as it makes it so much easier to clean.
Washed and dried the bedding and just waiting for floor to be done to re make the bed.
Put more loads of laundry in the washer and drier.
Made a quick lunch for Nora and I both.
Put more Nora toys away and had to take care of some Nora personal needs ;D
Both beds are re-made (Ours and Nora's)
Floor is waxed and more laundry is processing.
Just one more load to wash and I will be done with the dirty laundry!
So here is what is done: Kitchen is clean Laundry room is clean Nora's room is clean Dining Room is clean Living room is clean
What is left? I need to clean the bathroom The master bedroom Clean/organize the buffet Sewing room.
Not too bad!
Phew!
I still have most of the dinning room to do, the master bedroom (not too bad in there) and my sewing room.

Posted - Nov 11 2008 : 11:36:57 AM I know what you mean Farrah! I have been starting up the stay by doing "upkeep" and then working on the next room.
Though I am a bit burnt out today and had to go grocery shopping at Costco so I might end up taking a "lazy day" and doing more tomorrow. But it's only 12:30 so maybe I will do more this afternoon.

Posted - Nov 11 2008 : 10:06:50 AM Good job Alee! I'm still following my list. The problem is it seems as soon as something gets done I have to do it all over again!
Blessings! ~Farrah http://homesteadblogger.com/keeperofthehome/ http://oldfashionedhomekeeper.blogspot.com
